"Dr. Isakson has changed my life completely for the better. I have gone up and down in weight by more than 50 lbs, two babies, 1 c-section and numerous prior abdominal surgeries. To say my stomach had seen better days is an understatement. For only being 30, I was ashamed of my body. I underwent an extended tummy tuck, muscle repair, Lipo to the flanks, mons and submental area. At 6 weeks out, I have no pain anymore, back to normal anct and am healing nicely. My scar is already fading and I can’t wait to see how it progresses. Dr. Isakson is blunt but honest and is truly an artist with body sculpting. The amount of compliments I have already received is insane and I expect to look even better as the swelling subsides."- Anonymous / Healthgrades / Nov 16, 2023
Am I a Candidate for CoolTone?
CoolTone is not meant to be used as a weight loss treatment. However, it can be a great way to tone and define muscles for those who are not far away from their target weight. If regular exercise and a healthy diet have not provided the results you've been looking for, you may want to consider this noninvasive procedure. CoolTone is typically performed on the thighs, abdomen, and buttocks. It may not be right for patients with certain conditions. Our team will review your medical history and help you decide if you are an ideal candidate for this treatment.
How is CoolTone Performed?
CoolTone uses magnetic muscle stimulation to reach down into deep layers of your body in order to reach the muscle tissue. During the procedure, the CoolTone device is used to create a magnetic current that targets sections of the muscle, initiating involuntary muscle contractions that work to tone the muscles in the associated areas. In total, the procedure usually takes anywhere from 1 – 2 hours but can fluctuate, depending on the number of areas being treated.
What Results Can I Expect From CoolTone?
Most of our patients are able to immediately return to their daily life as soon as the treatment has concluded. In many cases, there is absolutely no downtime associated with the procedure. Typically, most patients begin to enjoy visible results within 4 – 8 sessions and sometimes as little as three weeks. The most significant results are usually reported around 2 – 4 months after your final procedure.
How much does CoolTone cost?
The total cost of CoolTone will vary from patient to patient, depending on a wide number of factors, including the number of areas being treated, the number of sessions, and the current state of the body. During your initial consultation, we will analyze your body and create a custom treatment plan, which will break down the entire process, including a cost estimate.
How long do CoolTone results last?
Results from CoolTone can be seen almost immediately, though final results can take a few months until they are visible. These results are not permanent but can last for six months, and in some cases, even longer. To maintain these results, we usually recommend scheduling regular maintenance sessions every few months.
Does CoolTone hurt?
Though CoolTone is not usually described as painful, like the sensation of a normal workout, it can feel a bit uncomfortable. However, most patients are able to adjust to the sensation within a few minutes and even carry on a conversation throughout the length of their session.
