Procedure: Tummy Tuck

This pleasant patient came to see Dr. Decherd with the hopes of fixing the damage done to her abdomen following pregnancies. After going through the consultation, it was determined that a full abdominoplasty, or tummy tuck, would help her reach her goals. During the surgery, Dr. Decherd found that her muscle fascia was separated by 11-12 cm. This was repaired, extra skin and fat was removed, and just a little liposuction done towards the end of the incisions to help make them harmonious. The patient was ecstatic with her results! Her scar hides nicely under her underwear or bikini. As the scars mature, they will fade and look even better!
