Procedure: Tummy Tuck

This petite mom had abdominal laxity and loose skin following several c-sections. After extensive research and a consultation with Dr. Decherd, she decided to have her abdomen repaired with a full abdominoplasty. Dr. Decherd removed her old c-section scar and replaced it with a lower scar which hides will under a bikini or underwear. The abdominal fascia was sewn up 7-8cm, excess skin and fat was removed and liposuction was performed to smooth out the ends of the incisions and to prevent dog-ears. Her scars are still maturing and should fade nicely over the course of 12-18 months. The patient is much more comfortable and confident in her skin and is extremely pleased with her results!
