MEET DR. ISAKSON

Dr. Matthew Isakson is a board-certified plastic surgeon with specialized fellowship training and extensive experience in aesthetic surgery. He specializes exclusively in aesthetic surgery of the face, breast and body with a focus on mommy makeover surgery, abdominoplasty, liposuction, breast augmentation, breast lift, fat transfer to breast, buttocks and labia, labiaplasty, gynecomastia as well as any body contouring procedures related to weight loss. Dr. Isakson is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is an active member in the American Society of Plastic Surgery.

EDUCATION

Dr. Isakson earned his Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience and Molecular biology. An inquisitive and competitive mind led him from the laboratory to the field of medicine. Dr. Isakson started his medical education in Ireland where he received initial training at one of the oldest and most celebrated medical schools in the world: University College Cork (UCC).

TRAINING

After completing medical school with honors, Dr. Isakson moved back to the states to complete a 6-year plastic surgery residency at The University of Oklahoma (where he was incredibly lucky to meet his beautiful wife). He was then selected to further advance his surgical and nonsurgical aesthetic techniques at one of the most prestigious and longest running Aesthetic Surgery fellowships: the H/K/B Plastic Surgery Center in Charlotte, NC.

APPROACH

Dr. Isakson is extensively trained in the most state-of-the-art reconstructive and aesthetic surgical techniques. He works closely with his patients to understand their needs and what it will take to achieve their goals. His patients are his priority, and he works to guide his patients through every step of the surgical or non-surgical process.

As soon as you meet him, you will realize that Dr. Isakson loves to talk about surgery, loves to do surgery, and loves answering questions.

PERSONAL LIFE

When he is not in the operating room or clinic, Dr. Isakson enjoys spending time with his wife and children, preferably outside exploring the Hill Country of Texas!

"First and Foremost, I wanna see that I’ve had an overall great pleasant experience here. I searched different places before coming here and finalizing my decision. At that time, they added a new surgeon here. My experience is with Dr. Isakson. He’s hands down the best doctor I’ve ever had, just in general. Because I’ve even had bad experiences with doctors in other fields. I know it can be scary to pick a surgeon you can trust. He worked on my Tummy Tuck, Brachioplasty and Lipo to Chin. He walked me through each detail and answered every single question I had. He was firm, and honest about what the recovery process entailed.
