Procedure: Breast Revision

This pleasant 22 year old female had a breast augmentation 3 months prior and was not satisfied with her final appearance. She enlisted Dr. Decherd’s services to assist her with fulfilling a fuller look. After being properly educated on implants she decided to go with a wider implant. He also sewed off the sides of the implant pocket so the implant would not fall into her underarm when she laid down (capsulopexy). She looks great!

Procedure: Breast Revision

This woman had saline implants placed via the armpit elsewhere. When she laid down they fell off onto her sides. We switched her 450cc saline implants to 650cc silicone implants that were wider and fit her base diameter (breast width) more appropriately. Also the lateral pocket was closed off so they do not fall to the side when laying down. They feel more natural, and the correct width improves the aesthetics. She also had a full abdominoplasty with muscle plication. She had had 2 kids and was unable to tighten her abdomen through exercise.

This woman in her 70’s had had prior breast implants elsewhere. She came here for revision. She had also has a biopsy which had left a noticeable scar. At surgery we switched her to silicone implants that fit her width. In doing a breast lift her areolae were made smaller, and the biopsy scar was removed. She looks a lot better!

This patient previously had saline implants placed by another surgeon. After a spontaneous rupture of her right implant, she was left lopsided and feeling very self conscious. Dr. Decherd was able to see the patient in a timely manner and get her taken care of. After deflating the left side, Dr. Decherd’s staff appropriately seized the patient and found she had a significant difference in the amount of breast tissue from one breast to the other. Ultimately, she went with silicone smooth round moderate plus profile implants, with 375 cc placed on the right side and 400 cc placed on the left side. The patient was thrilled with her results. Patient is just a couple of months post-op, so you’ll see the silicone scar sheets under the breast, which help the scars to heal.

This patient had a breast augmentation with saline implants placed by another surgeon over 10 years prior. She was unhappy with the appearance, and felt her left side had “bottomed out.” She enlisted the services of Dr. Decherd to replace the old implants with new silicone gel implants. After being educated on implants sizes at her pre-operative appointment (which included deflation of the saline implants) the patient chose 485 cc high profile silicone gel implants. Her new implants fill out the width of her chest better, and Dr. Decherd also made some adjustments to the pockets (capsulopexy) which keep them from falling laterally into her underarms. She looks natural and proportionate and loves her new look!

This patient had a previous breast augmentation 18 years prior by another physician. At the time, saline implants were placed. After going through pregnancies, her breasts underwent changes and she was ready to have them replaced. She sought the expertise of Dr. Decherd to remove the old saline implants and replace them with silicone gel implants. Dr. Decherd deflated her saline implants in a simple quick procedure, which enabled her to go through the sizing process to see what best suits her. Along with the help of a staff member, she chose moderate profile 375cc silicone gel implants. The implants fit her petite frame well and help to fill in the cleavage. She loves her new look and is so happy with her results!

This pleasant patient in her 40’s enlisted the expertise of Dr. Decherd to help get her pre-baby body back after several pregnancies. She had saline implants that had lateralized (fell off to the sides) and she wanted more cleavage and slightly larger implants. After consulting with Dr. Decherd, the patient chose to replace her saline implants with 615cc extra full profile silicone gel implants. She also underwent a tummy tuck at the same time (see our tummy tuck gallery for details). Her implants now fill out her chest nicely and she has the cleavage she desires. She is extremely pleased with her results!
