This pleasant 53 year old patient sought the expertise of Dr. Michael Decherd after losing over 50 lbs. She also previously had a child, and was ready to get rid of loose, sagging skin. After consulting with Dr. Decherd, she decided on a full abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) and breast lift with augmentation (or implant placement). During the sizing process, the patient chose 360 cc low plus profile silicone gel implants to help reinflate her breasts. At the time of surgery, Dr. Decherd sewed up her abdominal fascia 8 cm and removed the excess skin. He placed the implants in the submuscular position and lifted and reshaped the breasts to the new position. The patient loves her new improved shape and has gained confidence! She looks amazing!
